Hey there! My name is Matteo. I was born and raised in the beautiful region of Sardinia. Growing up surrounded by ancient ruins, rugged granite mountains, and crystal-clear waters, I developed a deep passion for our local history and geography.
I split my year between working as a part-time museum archivist in Cagliari and teaching windsurfing during the hot summer months. I live in Pula with my teenage daughter Giulia, who is obsessed with snorkeling, and a very fat, lazy ginger cat named Nerone who basically thinks he owns Nora beach.
This website is an independent travel portal that I created to share honest local knowledge about this unique archeological site. I spent many years researching the Phoenican history of Nora, which the place is easy to get to. We love sailing around the cape on weekends!
